Serpenthor pointed me this way, and it looks like a proper reboot with a lot of old faces is underway here. Rather surprised this happened so quickly! Hopefully it keeps rolling.
I've been a creature that's floated around these kinds of dragon+otherkin forums for awhile now. SilverDragonDen (back in '02), Draconic, the original DR, Draconomicon/Draconity... Seems there will always be places rising and falling, and a few that seem to stay around forever. Nice to see this one and its community rebooted.
As far as being a big pile of scales, I'm just your run-of-the-mill oreo dragon with perhaps too many spines down the back. For those curious of a reference image or two, Serpenthor also did some excellent pieces for me in the past:
