People "Just Knowing"

I've suspected this for quite a few years, but I've never had any confirmation of it and looking it up online is nigh useless because if there is a term for it, I don't know what that term is.

But people just seem to know I'm not human.  I don't go out of my way to act like a dragon in public or anything like that.  I do what I can to just blend in, but I always get these people who, from the moment they lay eyes on me, they either get uneasy around me, or they get angry and blame me for things I haven't done, or they outright hate me.  The few times I've gotten up enough nerve to ask what it was that I did, they never had an answer.

I know that dragons used to get blamed for all sorts of bad things back when humans in general believed in our existence, and I know that some folks believe that dragons exist in another dimension and cause havoc in that way, calling us "reptilians" instead of dragons.  But the thing is, if I am causing people trouble like they say I am, I have no knowledge of it, and people "just know" that I'm different from them, to the point where their reactions to my presence seem instinctive.  Some folks outright avoid me, some people look at me with suspicion in their eyes, and of course some just fly into a tantrum saying I did stuff I didn't actually do.

Does anybody know what this kind of "just knowing" is called?  Can humans instinctively tell I'm not one of them?  I'm 45 years old, and I've only been Awakened for 7 of those years or so, and most of my introspection and research has been dedicated to figuring myself out rather than figuring out my relationship to my human neighbors, so I'm kind of in the dark as far as this is concerned.

I'm sorry then.  I did my best to help.

I hope your answers can be found elsewhere.

I hope so too.  I also hope that someone else here can give me an answer to my question.
